Molarity
The concentration of a solution is the amount of solute dissolved in a
certain volume of solution. This concentration is usually expressed
in molarity, which is the moles of solute per liter of solution
.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Select a solute to be used by clicking one of the 4 solute option
buttons.
- Vary the scroll bar to select the number of grams of solute to be
used.
- Enter the volume of solution into the text box on the right of the
screen.
- Click on the calculate button to determine the molarity of the solution.
Molarity is in units of moles per liter.
