The concentration of a solution is the amount of solute dissolved in a
certain volume of solution. This concentration is usually expressed
in molarity, which is the moles of solute per liter of solution
.
INSTRUCTIONS
Select a solute to be used by clicking one of the 4 solute option
buttons.
Vary the scroll bar to select the number of grams of solute to be
used.
Enter the volume of solution into the text box on the right of the
screen.
Click on the calculate button to determine the molarity of the solution.
Molarity is in units of moles per liter.
