Walk Through Mode

To best suit individual learning styles, the TI-83 Plus Tutor allows users to view an example’s presentation one step at a time (Walk Through) or automatically (Show Me). After selecting any example, the example box will be displayed on the right side of the screen. As the default, the example is set to step 1 and the presentation mode is Walk Through. This means that the user must perform the requested keystroke in order to move to the next step.

Show Me Mode

To watch the example from beginning to end without user input, click on the down arrow in the top right corner of the example box to open the presentation mode menu. Click on Show Me to watch the example performed “hands free.” In Show Me mode, a control panel (VCR-style) appears allowing users to restart, to go back a step, to jump to the last step, or to pause/play the current example.
